Gate opener repair
Gate opener humming, clicking or doing nothing? Let's find out why.
- Swing-arm & slide operators
- Safety sensors tested
- Written price before work starts

A gate opener that won't respond, stops halfway or reverses for no reason can leave you locked in or out of your own driveway. Sometimes the cause is simple, like a dead remote battery, a tripped sensor or a limit that has drifted. Sometimes it's a worn motor, gearbox or control board.
We test the whole system: power, control board, limits, safety sensors, remotes and keypads, and the gate itself. A gate that drags or binds makes any opener fail early, so if the problem is the gate, we'll fix that too with gate repair.

Signs your gate opener needs service
Call if your gate opener:
- Doesn't respond to the remote or keypadCould be batteries, programming, the receiver or the control board.
- Hums or clicks but the gate doesn't moveOften a motor, gearbox or capacitor problem, or a gate that's binding.
- Stops or reverses partwayUsually a sensor, a limit setting or the gate dragging.
- Runs slowly or strainsThe gate may be too heavy for the operator or the hardware is worn.
- Makes grinding or clunking noisesWorn gears, arms or mounting hardware.
Safety first. Automatic gates are heavy and move with real force. Don't try to force a stuck gate or bypass its safety sensors; switch the operator to manual release only if you know how, and call a technician.
